My Aesthetics Clinic creates a space where clients will always feel at ease and never intimidated. My clients often comment on how approachable and down to earth I am, and how they love my honest and comprehensive approach.

I understand that sometimes the thought of any Injectable treatment may be intimidating and scary and that is why my Clinic, and methods will always be focussed on safety practice and client comfort.

 

About Me

I am very passionate about Aesthetics and my aim in your treatment plan is helping you to feel good about yourself.

I also understand that the way you see yourself can affect your self-esteem and confidence.

Facial ageing is a natural process we all experience at one point in our life; but rest assured but there are a wide range of treatment options (both injectable and non-injectable) that can be used to help to restore your confidence.

I specialise in treatments that produce natural looking results, that are uniquely tailored to each client. My point of difference is that I take a more ‘holistic’ approach to Aesthetics, where your face will be assessed for balance and symmetry as a whole, rather than just focussing on one concern, and will often involve multi layering services to achieve the best possible results and longevity for you.

One thing I can reassure you of is that no treatment will ever look ‘overdone’ and each client will have their own unique treatment plan that is tailored to them and their goals.

 

Experience and Knowledge

I have amassed over 40 years’ experience in the beauty / skin care industry as a practitioner, educator and author.

I am very proud to be one of the very first non-medic Aesthetic Practitioners in the UK to achieve the accolade of the Gold Standard for Injectable Qualifications of a Qualifi Level 5 and Level 7 in Aesthetic Practice, which is an Ofqual regulated qualification and the first of its kind for both medics and non-medics.

I am probably best known for my work as an educator over the past 35 years through my highly respected training academy helenmcguinness.com, as I have trained literally thousands of therapists both nationally throughout the UK as well as internationally in Asia and America. Many of my students now run their own successful salons and clinics in this country and abroad.

I am also the well- known author of the highly successful ‘Anatomy & Physiology’ book and workbook, published by Hodder & Stoughton, which, originally published in the 90’s, is now in its 5th Edition and is still in publication today.

Due to the fact that The Aesthetics industry is fast developing I am constantly striven to improve the quality of all of my treatments and services with the latest training, techniques and technology.
